About Us

Roman Road is a medium sized primary school which celebrates the diverse community it serves in the heart of East London. We are largely a two-form entry Primary school, with plans to become three-form in the coming years. We also have a 52 place Nursery. The majority of our children live in and represent our local area, which is rich in its diversity
The School has undergone some major changes in the past few years. The original building, which was built back in the 1970’s, has been enhanced by the construction of three additional blocks. This comprises 18 new classrooms, a new library, new office space and a modern sports hall
